Everyone, without exception, is welcome at the Whitecourt Library. No membership is needed to come in and use the public computers or access the Wi-Fi. Whitecourt and Woodlands residents can visit us and apply for a free membership which gives you borrowing privileges within our local collection, as well as library collections across Alberta through the Provincial Inter-Library Loan System.

With over 50,000 items in our local physical collection, Library members have immediate access to a wide selection of books (both paper and audio), CDs, DVDs, video games, magazines, and newspapers. Log into our website and you gain access to library collections across the province, as well as electronic resources including databases, streaming audio and video content, and ebooks.
